Statement of beliefs.The Bible: I believe it to be the verbally inspired Word of God. It is the only complete and final revelation of God to man in this age, and it is the standard and guide of conduct and action for the believer and the Church.I BELIEVE GOD exists eternally as Three Persons in one: GOD the FATHER, GOD the SON, and GOD the HOLY SPIRIT. I believe that man is, by nature and choice, a sinner and, thus, separated from God. Jesus was born of the virgin Mary. This does not make her holy. She was just the instrument God used to bring His Son into the world. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on the cross. Three days after His death and burial, He arose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended back to Heaven, after His resurrection, and assumed His place of glory at His Father's right hand. Salvation is God's gift to humanity. Men, left to themselves, can never produce salvation through their good works or self-improvement. Salvation is produced only by trusting Jesus Christ as God's perfect offer of forgiveness. I believe that before the seven year tribulation and the literal thousand year reign of Jesus Christ, spoken of by the LORD Jesus Christ and the holy prophets in the Old Testament, that the LORD himself will come in the clouds to catch up all true believers to be with Him in heaven. |
