This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Gal 5:16

The Rapture

The first thing we will look into is the rapture.  Now realize that the word rapture is not used in the Bible.  In many verses of the Bible the term ‘caught up’ or ‘transformed’, ‘translated’, or ‘changed’ is used.  As you can see, several different terms are used for Rapture.

So how do we know that the rapture is really going to take place?  In the Bible, there are many verses that relate to the rapture.  Personally, I think that the one that best describes the rapture is in the verses from 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17 (kjv).
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

As you can see in verses 16 and 17, the ones that are dead (or asleep) in Christ will rise first and then we who are alive (or still on this Earth) will rise to meet Him.

Also in John 14: 1-3 (kjv) Jesus said:
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And last, but most importantly, Jesus said in Rev. 3:10:
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

These are just a few of the verses, but I believe that these alone give enough proof that the rapture is going to happen.

Everlasting Life

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 3:36.
